It’s important to breathe! It’s like a muscle memory, we don’t even think about doing it. But focusing on the breathe can really be calming and allow us to be present. There are many breathing techniques that can help you get in touch with your thoughts, feelings and sensations in your body. A way to check in and see that maybe you are anxious or have a headache.
Alternate Nostril Breathing is one of these techniques. It can be practiced every day for just a few minutes or whenever you just need to have a moment to collect your thoughts. It’s my favourite practice that has helped me a ton! I hope you find it helpful as well.
